Winter sun trips have a different kind of appeal. They can be focused on exploring hot, tropical destinations at milder temperatures. Or they can just be a much needed escape from the grey -trading short days and cold mornings for warmth, light, and a slower pace.
In this section, I share destinations that are perfect for both kinds of breaks, whether it’s a quick escape or a longer reset in the middle of winter.
Everyone on the northern hemisphere will be hunkering down trying to fight off the winter blues. But, you will be enjoying the turquoise water, lush green forests, colourful cities and charming villages in some of the most special corners of the world.
